Unless you have either installed further plugins or are willing to do a lot of python scripting you won't get a proper drawing out. When it comes to creating drawings of the part you want made the drawing module lacks key functionality. The documentation goes on about material properties at length but doesn't seem to allow you to apply them anywhere (but maybe I'm missing the button). Putting aside the philosophical question of whether something can be called a part of it isn't going to be connected to anything.įor part modelling itself I find FreeCAD is unwieldy and requires workarounds for basic tasks.
